Hello everyone – I thought I’d kick the week off with a few announcements and reminders:
CMBA Workshops
There is still time to register for all three of the upcoming online workshops that I’m presenting. (But time is running out, since the Business 101 workshop is tonight!) The rest of my summer is starting to look incredibly busy, so I’m not sure when I’ll be offering the workshops again. Which means if you’re considering them, you should take them now. Every workshop is full of information, and you’ll have a chance to get all your individual questions answered. Head over to the workshops page to sign up.
July book club – Good to Great
July is just around the corner, and with it, the next installment of the CMBA book club. This time around, we’ll be tackling Good to Great by Jim Collins. This is one of my favorite business books, and I’ve been listening to the audiobook version in preparation. I’ve got so many great post ideas based on the concepts in the book, and hopefully we can get conversation going again on the book club blog. I’ll be posting a reading list soon, but until then, be sure to pick up your copy of Good to Great
.
And don’t forget to breathe.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve got an incredibly busy day followed by an incredibly busy week. And I’m already starting to panic a little. So this is a reminder to myself, and any of you who are feeling overwhelmed by your to-do list, to breathe. And to prioritize. And to breathe some more.

hey I am trying to sign up for your workshop tonight, but when i fill out the form it doesn’t connect to PayPal…? it just says connecting, wait one moment , and it never does….
thanks
Giselle
I am so excited for the July book club…I bought Good To Great a couple of years and as I still have not read it, I was thrilled to see it on your list!!
I love Good to Great. The idea of finding your hedgehog (what you do better than anyone else, something that feeds your passion AND drives your economic engine) is so brilliantly simple. Yet finding that sweet spot is the challenge we all face. I have a stuffed hedgehog on my desk to remind myself of the concept. I read and reread the book several years ago, but this gives me a good reason to get it back out.
