How to avoid overwhelm when building your store outreach list

One of my favorite things about selling to stores is that you can be proactive and reach out to them on your own. You don’t have to wait for stores to find you!

And I especially love sending postcards. It gives stores an immediate visual impression of your work, and you don’t have to worry that you’ll get lost or ignored in an overflowing inbox.

But I also know that the idea of a postcard mailing can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re just building your store list. Since you have to order a specific quantity of postcards (for most places, you need to order at least 250 to make it really cost-effective) you might feel like you have to finish building your list before you can even start on a postcard mailing.
